If you are looking for weight loss, to get fitter or to get faster then The Fitness Unit BOOTCAMP is for you! Our BOOTCAMPS are headed up by Ex Military staff including 2 Ex Army Physical Training Instructors.

We run BOOTCAMP all year round, whatever the weather, in local parks, open areas or at the beach so that you maintain continuity in your training. Each Bootcamp is one hour of Military Style training designed to challenge all aspects of your health and fitness.

If you are looking for a quick fix then BOOTCAMP can help you see rapid results, but it is also our aim is to educate you into maintaining a long term, healthy lifestyle.

The Fitness Unit have been successfully running our BOOTCAMP Classes since 2007 and still have clients who have trained with us all this time so we must be doing something right!

We are still the only BOOTCAMP that is run by experienced ex Military Staff, and have the full backing of the local Council to run our BOOTCAMPS outdoors in Suffolk all year round.

The Fitness Unit BOOTCAMP is much more than an Outdoor Fitness Class. We arrange activity weekends away, enter lots of races including the local Race For Life as well as supporting local charities with fundraising events.

We even go for breakfast after the first Sunday BOOTCAMP of the month. (Healthy of Course!)
The Fitness Unit BOOTCAMP is a way of life, you will make friends, have fun and may even miss it when you are away!

WHAT SORT OF RESULTS WILL I GET?

DO I NEED TO BE FIT TO DO BOOTCAMP?
Of course not, that's why you are coming to us. Whilst we train as one group, the group is split into 3 teams according to each person’s fitness level. There are three different bib colours so that we can identify each group easily.

WHAT DOES A BOOTCAMP SESSION CONSIST OF?
Each session is different and can include but are not limited to the following;
Running, walking, bodyweight exercises - squats, lunges,
press ups, sit ups, burpees. Team and partner exercises.

I HAVE SEEN BAD LADS ARMY IS THAT WHAT YOU DO?
No! We will not bully or humiliate anyone. We raise our voices to be heard not to shout at anyone.

WHO ARE THE BOOTCAMP INSTRUCTORS?
All our instructors are qualified fitness professionals with the necessary fitness industry qualifications and insurance or are ex Military Physical Training Instructors.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO BOOTCAMP?
There is no need to bring anything with you other than paperwork. If it's your first time, and any medication that you may need eg. asthma inhalers. We supply and carry the water along with your valuables.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
T-shirt, long sleeved top, shorts or trousers and a good pair of trainers. Please do not wear your best gym gear. As this is outdoor training you may get dirty, sandy or wet! In the winter you should bring another layer with you to pop on at the end of the session to ensure that you stay warm.

DO YOU STILL RUN BOOTCAMP IN THE WINTER?
With safety at the forefront we train all year round in all weathers. We use glow sticks and torches as a means of direction when the lighting is not so good.

IS THERE SOMEWHERE SAFE I CAN PARK?
Yes, all of our sessions have parking close by, we will always ensure that everyone gets back to their car safely.
